frequency - Why aren't ferrite rod antennas used in WiFi?

Does it have something to do with soft ferrite's low coercivity, still not low enough at gigahertz frequencies?

See, I'm putting together high gain receiver antennas and transmitter antennas. Space is an issue. So maybe the same as ferrite rods allowing for antenna meters and meters long to be coiled around said ferrite rod just a few inches long, ferrite rods will do it for WiFi antennas.

Am I wrong? If so, in what aspects?

arduino - Can I use TI's cc2541 BLE as micro controller to perform operations/ processing instead of ATmega328P AU to save cost?

I am using arduino pro mini (which contains Atmega328p AU ) along with cc2541(HM-10) to process and transfer data over BLE to smartphone. I...
