switching - ultrafast catch diode for relay

Is there any reason to not use a UF2008 as catch diode on a DC relay, solenoid, or electromagnet? IN4001 costs $0.07 and UF2008 costs $0.03 and seems to be better suited in all ways

Answer

Either diode is fine in this application as long as the relay coil current is less than 2 amps.

arduino - Can I use TI's cc2541 BLE as micro controller to perform operations/ processing instead of ATmega328P AU to save cost?

I am using arduino pro mini (which contains Atmega328p AU ) along with cc2541(HM-10) to process and transfer data over BLE to smartphone. I...
